Social Activity at Dayang Saadiah Binti Ahmad´s Residence

On Friday, 15 Jamadilawal 1431 Hijrah corresponding to 30th April 2010 Awang Abdul Hamid bin Mohd Zain, a bedridden senior citizen received much needed assistance through the Yayasan Volunteer Unit under the Committee for the care of senior citizens and families in need of assistance project (PAWEK) of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The 75-year-old man, who resides in Kg Sungai Besar, has been paralysed since four years ago. He is under the care of one of his daughter and her 11-member family. Currently, the family is living without assistance from any agencies.
Assistance in a form of bed sets as well as other necessities was handed over by Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Hj Janudin, member of the Board of Directors of Yayasan as the chairman of the PAWEK working committee. Also in present were a few senior officers from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
