Some Mosques, Suraus And Prayer Halls Received Cash Contributions From The Yayasan

On Monday, 21 Sya’aban 1431H corresponding to 02nd August 2010, the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) gave financial contributions to some mosques, suraus and praying halls in this country. These contributions are meant to uphold religious ceremonies and activities normally held during the fasting month of Ramadhan. Such project has become an annual activity of Yayasan in the field of religion which substantiate one of its establishment objectives in its effort to glorifying mosques, suraus and prayer halls in this country. For the month of Ramadhan 1431 Hijrah / 2010, the Yayasan hands out a total sum of B$42,500.00 to 65 mosques, suraus and prayer halls from all the 4 districts.
All of the cash contributions were handed by Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim bin Haji Daud, Managing Director of Yayasan to the respective Imams.
Among those whom attended the function were the Yayasan Managing Director’s Assistances, Officers from The Mosque Affairs Department, Imams and officers from the Yayasan.
