"Contributions From The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah "
On Saturday 05th Sya’aban 1431 Hijrah correspond to 17th July 2010, the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) donated financial contributions to the followings:-
- Donation in a form of funeral paraphernalia to some mosques, suraus and prayer halls. Such contributions are in-line with the objective of the Yayasan under the religion perspective. Altogether there are 7 recipients comprising of 5 different mosques and suraus and 2 prayer halls stated as below.
- Kg Mentiri Mosque
- Kg Pelambayan Mosque
- Kg Lamunin Mosque
- Kg Sinaut Mosque
- Pekan Seria Mosque
- Kg Semabat Prayer Hall
- Kg Piasau-Piasau Prayer Hall
All of these donations were received by the respective imams.
- Contribution to the Malay Islamic Monarchy Supreme Council amounting B$5,000.00 (Brunei Dollars: Five Thousands Only) for partially financing the cost of organising exhibition for the Exhibition & Book Launching ceremony : Royal Wedding Istiadat of Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah. The B$5,000.00 contribution from the Yayasan was received by Yang Mulia Dayang Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Director of the Academy of Brunei Studies.
- Contribution to the Brunei’s Translator Association amounting B$4,995.00 (Brunei Dollars: Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Five Only) which is to used for financing 5 members of the association to attend the International Conference on Translation & Multiculturalism held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia commencing on the 23rd July 2010 till 25th July 2010. Contribution from the Yayasan was received by the association’s president, Yang Mulia Awang Haji Abdul Momin bin Awang Tengah.
- Contribution to the Amateur Radio Association worth B$4,800.00 is to be use for purchasing 300 backpacks for their participation in the 6th Borneo Amateur Radio Festival. Present to receive the contribution was Yang Mulia Awang Haji Yacob bin dato Paduka Haji Sunny, Secretary General of Amateur Radio Association.
All of the contributions from Yayasan were presented by Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim bin Haji Daud, Managing Director of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
