Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Handing Over Contribution Ceremony

On Wednesday, 26 Jamadilakhir 1431 Hijrah corresponding to 9th June 2010, the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah placed a contribution totalling to B$11,400.00 to three respective beneficiaries. First contribution went to Awang Abu Bakar@Ayub bin Haji Abdul Wahab, a victim of fire incidence at Flat Polis Kawalan Diraja in Kampong Beribi. The occurence had destroyed most of the household items and was believed to have originated from a faulty electric wiring. Awang Abu Bakar@Ayub bin Haji Abdul Wahab received a financial aid of B$1,400.00 from the Yayasan
.
Second contribution in a form of sponsor went to the Kampong Bukit Udal’s mosque for organising a program entitled Constructing A Person Values Through The Mosque (Program Membina Nilai Insan Melalui Masjid). The program will run for 4 consecutive days commencing 15th June 2010 till 18th June 2010. In presence to receive the financial sponsor amounting B$5,000.00 was the Imam of Kampong Bukit Udal Mosque, Awang Hazman bin Haji Hussin.
The third contribution is a financial sponsor for arranging a meeting entitled ‘Pertemuan Penyair Nusantara Ke-4, 2010’. The B$5,000.00 sponsor was meant to cover partial of the cost for organising such gathering which is going to be held for 3 consecutive days starting on 16th July 2010 till 18th July 2010. The meeting which opened to all poetists in this region is aimed to promote and make known and at the same time discussed throughly on the writing piece of Almarhum Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien III. In addition it is hoped that such undertakings could raised and gained recognition towards Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (Almarhum Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien) as ‘Tokoh Sasterawan Islam Brunei’ and Almarhum Pengiran Shahbandar Mohd Salleh as ‘Pelopor Kesusasteraan Moden Brunei Darussalam’. At presence to receive the contribution was Prof Madya Ampuan Dr. Hj Brahim bin Ampuan Haji Tengah, Chief 1 of Asterawani Brunei Darussalam.
