Yayasan Granted A House To Dayang Zalehah Binti Othman

On Monday, 24 Jamadilakhir 1431 Hijrah corresponding to 7th June 2010 a foundation laying ceremony under the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) Housing Scheme for Dayang Zalehah binti Othman’ house was held at Lot 14155, Simpang 788, Kampong Kiudang. An unemployed with three children to look after depends entirely on an allowance receives from the Majlis Ugama Islam Brunei. An old house previously owned by Dayang Zalehah was burnt down in a fire accident happened on the 5th August 2002 leaving her no choice but to temporarily reside with her uncle till at present.
The new house comprising of 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen etc cost B$43,000.00 to construct.
Present at the event to officiate the foundation laying ceremony was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Junaidi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Setia Dato Paduka Haji Hashim, a member of the Board of Director of Yayasan and Hj Mohammad Saiful Abdullah Anja, village head of Kampong Kiudang.
