Fire victims received assistance from Yayasan

The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation (Yayasan) on 18 Jamadilawal 1431H corresponding to 3rd May 2010 contributed a total sum of B$3,100.00 to three families who were affected by a recent fire incident in Tutong. The tragedy happened on the 28th April 2010 in Kampong Sungai Jambu Telisai, Tutong affecting a total of 9 family members. Names of recipients representing the three families are Awang Haji Mohammad Idrus bin Mahari / Haji Idrus bin Labuan, Dayang Hajah Nafsi bte Bakar and Dayang Hajah Sukmawati bte Haji Mohammad Idrus. Apart from financial contribution, Yayasan also contributed some provisions to the victims. All the contributions from Yayasan were handed over by Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim bin Haji Daud, Managing Director of Yayasan. Also in attendance to this ceremony were a few senior government officers and affected family members.
