Plight of Dayang Chida bte Sungot received attention from Yayasan

One of the main objectives of the establishment of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah with regards to its establishment is to render care and assistance to the less fortunate for example victims of natural disasters such as flood, earth erosion, fire and so on. Such assistance will be continuously carried out from time to time depending on the circumstances.
Hence with regards to the incident of a fallen house owned by Dayang Chida bte Sungot at Jalan Kecil Ratan, Tenajor Labi somewhere in mid April 2010, a group of officers from the Yayasan has paid a visit to the incident site on Wednesday, 28th April 2010. Main purpose is to perform an evaluation aside from contributing some basic needs such as rice, cooking oil etc. The much needed aid was handed over by Awang Haji Musthapa bin Haji Matahir, Assistant Managing Director of Yayasan to Dayang Chida bte Sungot at her son’s house in Kapong Tapang Lupak, Labi. Furthermore this visit will help Yayasan to assess a more appropriate aid to be given to her if such needs arise.
