The Volunteers Unit of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah was established on 28 Zulkaedah 1425H corresponding to 9 January 2005, with the aim of fostering awareness and enhancing the helping and caring spirit and culture among the subjects and people of the country.
Yayasan Volunteers Unit is responsible to enhance the involvement and participation of youths in the community development to produce a loving, caring and harmonious community so as to promote excellence and produce more trained and professional manpower. Through volunteering approach, all the services, energy and expertise of the volunteers could be assigned collectively to generate a harmony and excellent community development.
Registration is opened at all times to public throughout the country who are interested to become volunteers for Yayasan Volunteers Unit. Come and join us, contribute and share your thoughts and experience in voluntary work along with us.
To cater a channel for those who are interested, dedicated and willing to become a volunteer.
To create a route that unites volunteers and Yayasan´s strategic partners in managing Yayasan´s social welfare projects and activities.
To provide an opportunity to individuals or groups to share their talents, abilities, knowledge and skills by undertaking welfare projects and Yayasan programs amongst the needy, especially the poor in the community.
To nurture the spirit of volunteering among the youths in order to enhance their involvement and participation in community development.
To produce a loving, caring and harmonious community by giving an awareness and understanding among the community of the issues and problems faced by the ill-fated, deprived and poor subjects.
To enhance cooperation among the volunteers, the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the government agencies through creating new innovations and ideas in expanding social activities in a collective manner.
