Enhancing Socio-Economic Towards Zero Poverty Aid Project (PBSE) is in line with the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah objective establishment that is to enhance the welfare of the people. The targeted participant for PBSE is the less fortunate and low income families, especially the poor ones.
The PBSE projects are concentrating more on enriching and enhancing the participants´ socio-economic life through skills and entrepreneurship training schemes, financial and material support, for example, to start a small business, etc.
The involvement of volunteers in PBSE is mainly to collect data and information of the less fortunate families, assist in small business planning, providing relevant courses and training, etc.
The pilot project that has been carried out under the PBSE include offering skills and entrepreneurship training schemes for the needy families in Kampong Bolkiah such as tailoring industry project, food processing (crackers and traditional food), cloth weaving, water taxi service and basic computer skills.
